We have a few projects that go beyond our normal season prep clean-up day. If we can get volunteers, we would prefer this rather than spending funds on these jobs.

• We need some DIY landscaping done on the front of the building. There are some bushes that need dug out. This can be done anytime without access to the pool house. Just bring your own tools and do it when you have time. We will just send a photo with the items marked.

The volleyball court needs some TLC. We need a dedicated group to deal with this matter on clean-up day and probably beyond.

1. The in-ground edging of the volleyball court needs to be removed. It is a safety hazard. This will be similar to the work done 2 years ago to remove the wooden border of the area near the wading pool. The more hands we can get to help with this the better. Please bring tools including shovels, crow bars, etc.

2. Additionally, there is the issue of the barrier netting around the volleyball court. It is what keeps the ball from sailing out beyond the exterior fence. It needs to be rehung and the posts need attention. This will most likely need to be done after clean-up day unless a volunteer would like to determine measurements and get materials prior to May 18^th.

On season prep clean-up day, we will have the usual cleaning of the furniture as well as hanging of shades and other needed projects. We have plenty of soap and scrub brushes but you will want to bring buckets, gloves and a fun attitude. If you have a power washer, we really appreciate using it.

This is an excellent way for teens and pre-teens to get some Volunteer hours for school, church or other organizations.

The more people we get out to help, the faster all the work gets finished.
