To use the slide and diving well, patrons must be able to:
Children 12 and under will be given a swim test by the lifeguards to confirm they can use the deep end. This includes guests. At their discretion, a lifeguard may ask that any swimmer complete the test. Members may ask a guard to perform a swim test at any time (but please respect the guards if they are unable to do so immediately).
Upon completion of the test, the parent or guardian of the child will be asked to sign the test form that will be placed in the office. Results are transferred to the online system at intervals throughout the season.
At check-in, the lifeguards will see a swimmer symbol behind each child’s name that has passed the test.
NEW THIS YEAR: Instead of a stamp, we will be using wristbands for all children that have passed the swim test. We will change the color each Saturday. The child will receive a new wristband at their first entry of the week.
Please leave the wristband on for the week if possible. If it needs to be cut off, we understand and will provide a new one but highly encourage repeated usage of the band.
If a wristband cannot be worn, the guards will mark the child with a stamp/temporary tattoo pen.
